Who we are.
JOC Development is a group of hobby developers built around community, technology and a little bit of chaos.
Who We Are
We're a pretty randomly assembled group of gamers. Some of us met through games like Minecraft or Call of Duty, others joined later through Fortnite or Valorant — but we all share the same thing: a bit of a hobby for programming and a love for building our own projects. Over almost ten years, that turned into a habit of putting together small, cool projects — and this site is where we finally show them off.
What We Do
We design, develop and maintain tools and infrastructure for online communities.
Our work ranges from Discord bots and automation systems to websites, dashboards, Minecraft infrastructure and custom community solutions. Some projects are built for ourselves, some for communities we work with, and some are simply experiments that we wanted to bring to life.
The goal is simple: build useful things, make them work properly, and keep improving them.
Our Focus
The technical and creative areas the team concentrates on.
Clean implementation
We believe good software should not only work — it should be maintainable, understandable and built to last. We focus on clean structures and reliable implementations instead of unnecessary complexity.
Discord-native tools
Discord is at the heart of many of our projects. We build tools that fit how communities operate — from moderation and logging to dashboards, automation, integrations and custom bot functionality.
Automation-first
Repetitive work should not have to be done manually. We build automation where it makes sense, helping communities manage tasks, workflows and infrastructure more efficiently.
Our Philosophy
It's simple: we want to have fun, and we like sharing that.
When we've got the motivation for something bigger, we build it — a Discord bot anyone can use, another Minecraft server, a small website, or whatever tool sounds fun at the time.
Mostly it's just about enjoying what we do, meeting new people along the way, and not overthinking it.
Our Story
JOC Development didn't start as a traditional development team. It started with communities.
Back in 2017, CHAOS brought people together around gaming, Discord and just having a good time. P85Q's Headquarter, Johnny's Big Cave and SomCraft followed not long after. SomCraft — originally acquired around 2016/2017 — was rebuilt over about a year, relaunched in late 2017 / early-to-mid 2018, and eventually grew to peak times of 5,000–10,000 concurrent players and more than 60,000 registered users, before we shut it down in 2021 due to a lack of time and motivation.
Chaos Paradise followed as a smaller Discord community focused on interaction and giveaways. Over time, the original projects went quiet, and we eventually lost the original Chaos server entirely after an old member turned on the community and deleted it — taking years of conversations and memories with it.
CHAOS: 2017 RESURRECTION marks the return of that community spirit, and JOC Development is everything we've built and learned along the way since. We're not trying to recreate the past exactly — we're taking what made those projects special, bringing people back together, and building what comes next.
