Terms of Service — JOC Development

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the websites, bots and services operated by JOC Development, an independent hobby group ("we", "us"). JOC Development is not a registered company or legal entity — it's a small group of friends building gaming and Discord-related projects in our spare time. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

Services — the websites, Discord bots, dashboards and related tools operated by JOC Development.
User — anyone who accesses or uses the Services.
Content — any data, text or material submitted to or generated through the Services.

3. Use of Services

The Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use. You must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines wherever our bots or servers are used on the Discord platform. If a minimum age applies to a Service, it follows Discord's own age requirements — we don't run separate age verification.

4. User Responsibilities

You're responsible for the information you provide through our forms, bots or servers, and for keeping any account or server access you're given secure. Using the Services also means following Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Services to abuse, harass or harm others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, bots or servers; reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise interfere with how the Services work; or use the Services for anything illegal.

6. Intellectual Property

The code, design, branding and content of JOC Development's Services are our own work unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to use our public bots and tools as intended, but copying, redistributing or claiming our code, branding or content as your own is not permitted without our consent.

7. Availability

As a hobby project run in our free time, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee uptime, and maintenance, bugs or downtime can happen without notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Services for any user found violating these Terms, Discord's own rules, or acting in a way that harms the community or the Services themselves.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided free of charge, on a best-effort basis, by a hobby group. To the extent permitted by law, JOC Development is not liable for any damages, data loss or issues arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Services.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
