What Data We Process

We only process data you actively give us, or that's needed to keep the site running. Specifically:

• When you use the contact form: your name, email address, optional Discord username, and message content.
• When you use the report a bug form: the issue description, details, and an optional email address.
• General, non-identifying page view analytics (see "Cookies" below).

We do not require an account to use the website, and we don't collect any data beyond what's listed here.

Server Logs

Our hosting provider automatically logs standard server data for security and stability purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and access times — for every website, including this one. We don't access these logs for tracking purposes; they follow our hosting provider's default retention.

Contact

When you contact us by email, Discord, or through the contact or bug report forms, the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message content) is sent directly to a private Discord channel we monitor, and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. To understand which pages are visited, we generate a random, anonymous session identifier that's stored in your browser's sessionStorage — not a cookie — and is automatically deleted when you close the tab. This identifier, together with the page you visited, is sent to our own server so we can see aggregate visit counts. It cannot be used to identify you personally, is never linked to any other data we hold, and isn't shared with anyone.

External Services

This site loads web fonts (IBM Plex Sans / IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts. Loading these fonts may cause your browser to send your IP address to Google's servers, in line with Google's own privacy policy. No other third-party scripts, trackers or advertising services are used on this site.

Discord / External Services

Submissions through our contact and bug report forms are delivered via Discord webhooks directly into a private Discord channel — the content you submit (name, email, message, etc.) is processed by Discord under Discord's own Privacy Policy in addition to ours. Where JOC Development's bots (e.g. Community Manager, DC Inspectr) are used on a Discord server, they may process Discord user IDs, server IDs, and other Discord data relevant to the bot's function, as described in each bot's own documentation. Discord's handling of this data is governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Contact and bug report submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, then deleted. Anonymous page view analytics are aggregated and periodically summarized; the underlying per-visit records are not kept indefinitely. Server logs follow our hosting provider's own default retention period.

Since we generally don't hold personally identifiable data beyond what you send us directly (e.g. via the contact form), your main rights in practice are to ask what data we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion — for example, of a past contact or bug report submission.
